A Tesla Model S Performance has set a world record as the fastest production electric car with a 1/4 mile run of just 12.371 seconds. Yes, we still believe – certainly with the current and prospective battery technology – that the only real use an electric car has is as a small urban runaround or a local deliver vehicle. Ford has released a sketch of its new mid-sized 4x4, and a name: Kuga
Ford is reviving an old name - but with a new spelling - for its first European 4x4. The Kuga will appear at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and it's the latest model to feature Ford’s ‘kinetic design’ language. The look has been pioneered by Ford Europe’s executive design director Martin Smith, and it was first seen on the Iosis concept that previewed the current Mondeo.
New Toyota Avalon Tease? Toyota are teasing a new saloon car ahead of next month’s New York Auto Show, which is probably the replacement for the Toyota Avalon. The Toyota Avalon is a saloon car we don’t get in Europe, but it is Toyota’s top of the tree car in the States.
